Irinotecan falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Schizonepeta interacts with.

Animal research suggests that schizonepetin, a monoterpene constituent of schizonepeta, induces cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4. Theoretically, schizonepeta might decrease the effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
Some substrates of CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.

Here's the wrinkle with irinotecan: it's actually a prodrug. Your liver has to convert it into its active form (called SN-38), which is what really fights the cancer. The animal data on Schizonepeta suggest one of its compounds may speed up the CYP3A4 enzyme. For irinotecan, faster processing through this pathway could shift how much active drug you end up with, and that can cut both ways: either weakening the cancer-fighting effect or altering side effects like severe diarrhea and low white blood cell counts.

I want to be honest, though, this is based only on lab and animal research, not real patients, so it's theoretical. But irinotecan is serious chemotherapy with a narrow safety window. Please don't add Schizonepeta without first running it by your oncology team or pharmacist.
