Miconazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Schizonepeta interacts with.

Animal research suggests that schizonepetin, a monoterpene constituent of schizonepeta, induces cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4. Theoretically, schizonepeta might decrease the effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
Some substrates of CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.

Here's the practical side of this one. Schizonepeta has a plant compound called schizonepetin that, in animal studies, seems to speed up a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Since miconazole can be handled by that same enzyme, the worry is that the herb could clear miconazole faster and make it a little less effective.

That said, two things really soften this concern. First, the evidence is only from lab and animal work, so it's theoretical, not proven in people. Second, most folks use miconazole as a cream, suppository, or powder for yeast infections (think Monistat), and very little of that gets into your bloodstream, so a liver enzyme effect barely matters. If you're using an oral form, just check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
