Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate
Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Selenium interacts with.
Clinical research suggests that taking selenium 10 mcg/kg/day can increase bleeding times by increasing prostacyclin production, which inhibits platelet activity. Other clinical research suggests that taking selenium 75 mcg daily, in combination with ascorbic acid 600 mg, alpha-tocopherol 300 mg, and beta-carotene 27 mg, reduces platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combo pill already carries aspirin, which thins the blood by blocking platelets from clumping together. Selenium, in higher supplement doses, may gently nudge things in the same direction by boosting a compound (prostacyclin) that also keeps platelets from sticking. Stack those two effects and you could, in theory, bruise a bit more easily or notice bleeding that takes longer to stop, like from a small cut, your gums, or nosebleeds.
That said, the evidence here is weak and comes mostly from lab and animal work, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The selenium you get from food or a regular daily multivitamin is very unlikely to matter. If you're taking a high-dose selenium supplement, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye out.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate page
“Anacin with Codeine combines aspirin, caffeine, and codeine, and each of the three picks up its own supplement problems, so this is a list worth real caution. Just over half of the 398 ingredients here, 202 of them, can add to aspirin's blood-thinning action and raise bleeding risk.”

About Selenium
What is Selenium?
- Thyroid health support
- Antioxidant support
- Immune support
- General nutrient supplementation
- Reproductive/fertility support
Selenium is an essential trace mineral your body needs in small amounts for thyroid function, antioxidant defense, and immune health. Most people who eat a varied diet get enough, and supplements are mainly useful for those who are deficient. Because too much selenium can be toxic, stick to recommended amounts and check with your pharmacist or doctor before supplementing.
