Methamphetamine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Shiitake Mushroom interacts with.

Theoretically, shiitake mushroom might decrease levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro studies suggest that the shiitake mushroom extract AHCC might induce the CYP2D6 enzyme. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for Desoxyn (methamphetamine). Your body partly clears this stimulant using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Lab studies hint that a concentrated shiitake extract (AHCC) might speed that enzyme up, which in theory could clear methamphetamine a little faster and make it work slightly less well. So if anything, you'd expect a touch less benefit, not a dangerous buildup.

I want to be honest about how thin this is. It comes only from test-tube work and has never been shown in actual people. Eating shiitake as food is very unlikely to matter at all. If you're considering a concentrated shiitake supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first so they can keep an eye on how well your medication is controlling your symptoms.
