Elranatamab falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Thuja interacts with.

Thuja might stimulate immune function. Theoretically, taking thuja might decrease the effects of immunosuppressive therapy. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the concern with pairing Thuja and Elranatamab (Elrexfio). Elranatamab is a powerful therapy for multiple myeloma that works by redirecting your immune T-cells to attack cancer cells, so it deliberately reshapes how your immune system behaves. Thuja, on the other hand, contains compounds that lab studies suggest may stimulate immune activity. In theory, revving up the immune system with a supplement could work against or complicate a carefully calibrated cancer treatment.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical caution based on how these things work, not on real human studies with this drug. Still, with a serious cancer medicine like this, I'd err on the side of caution. Please clear any Thuja product with your oncology team or pharmacist before using it.

Thuja, also called northern white cedar or arborvitae, is a tree whose leaf and oil have a long history in folk and homeopathic medicine, especially for warts and immune support. Solid human evidence for these uses is very limited, and the undiluted oil contains thujone, which can be toxic.
