Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Piroxicam
Piroxicam falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Tinospora Cordifolia interacts with.
In vitro research shows that Tinospora cordifolia extract inhibits CYP2C9. Animal research shows that Tinospora cordifolia extract 400 mg/kg twice daily for 14 days reduces the clearance and increases plasma levels of glyburide, a CYP2C9 substrate. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for piroxicam (Feldene). Your body clears this anti-inflammatory mainly through a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In lab and animal studies, Tinospora cordifolia (Giloy) appears to slow that same enzyme down. So in theory, taking the two together could let piroxicam build up a bit higher than usual.
What might that look like? The kinds of side effects NSAIDs are already known for could become more likely: stomach upset, heartburn, an increased risk of stomach bleeding, fluid retention, or kidney strain. That said, this is only theoretical right now, based on test-tube and animal data, and it hasn't been confirmed in people. Since Tinospora has also been linked to liver injury in some reports, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Piroxicam page
“Piroxicam (Feldene) is a potent, long-acting NSAID for arthritis pain, and since it already carries real stomach-bleeding risk on its own, my honest read is that this page calls for genuine caution rather than a quick skim. Most of the 285 interacting supplements share a single problem: they thin the blood or blunt platelets, stacking…”
