Here's the gist: Aripiprazole (Abilify) can make some people feel drowsy or mentally foggy, especially when they first start it. Yerba mansa hasn't been well studied in people, but the concern on file is simply that pairing two things that can each calm the nervous system might add up to more sleepiness, dizziness, or trouble concentrating than either alone.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's a theoretical caution based on how these substances might behave, not something proven in studies. For most folks it's mild. Still, if you take Abilify, mention the yerba mansa to your pharmacist or doctor before starting, and go easy on driving until you know how the combination feels.
