Here's the gist with yerba mansa and Zyrtec (cetirizine). Cetirizine is an antihistamine that, even though it's considered a low-drowsiness option, can still make some people feel sleepy, foggy, or slowed down. Yerba mansa is thought to have mild calming, sedative-type effects of its own. Put the two together and you could feel more tired or sluggish than you'd expect from either one alone.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this concern is theoretical, based on how these things behave rather than solid human studies, so it may never be a real problem for you. Still, go easy until you know how the combo affects you, and skip it before driving. If you take cetirizine regularly, just check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

What Is Cetirizine Injection Used For?

Brand names: Cetirizine, Zyrtec, Quzyttir

Quzyttir (cetirizine injection) is approved to treat acute urticaria — a sudden outbreak of hives — in adults and in children 6 months of age and older. It is given by intravenous (IV) injection in a medically supervised setting.

Quzyttir is not recommended for children under 6 years of age who have impaired kidney or liver function.
