Here's the simple version: metoclopramide (Gimoti) can already make some people feel drowsy or foggy on its own. The concern with yerba mansa is that it may add to that sleepy effect, so combining the two could leave you feeling more tired, slower to react, or a little out of it. You might also notice fatigue stacking up if you're driving or doing anything that needs focus.

I want to be honest about the strength of this one. It's a theoretical caution based on how these compounds behave, not something proven in real people, and the sedation risk is on the milder side. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, just to be safe.

What Is Metoclopramide Nasal Spray Used For?

Brand name: Gimoti

Gimoti (metoclopramide nasal spray) is approved for adults with acute and recurrent diabetic gastroparesis — a condition where diabetes damages the nerves controlling stomach emptying, causing nausea, vomiting, and bloating. It works to relieve those symptoms by helping the stomach empty more normally.

Gimoti is not recommended for children, or for adults with moderate to severe kidney or liver disease. It is also not recommended for adults taking strong CYP2D6 inhibitor medications (certain antidepressants and other drugs that slow how the body breaks down metoclopramide).
