Niacin
Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is a water-soluble vitamin found in a variety of foods, including meat, poultry, fish, and fortified grains. It plays a variety of roles in the body, including in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. It is also necessary for the production of energy in the body and in the synthesis of different hormones. Niacin deficiency is rare in developed countries, however, supplementation has been shown to have several positive benefits. For example, it can reduce the risk of diabetic neuropathy (i.e., nerve pain) and has been shown effective for treating some types of high cholesterol (extended-release niacin is used as a prescription drug in the United States for this purpose). There is a multitude of niacin forms available as dietary supplements, including NADH, niacinamide, and nicotinamide riboside, all with different properties.

Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions |
- Dosage: After lifting, there is a critical anabolic “window of opportunity” that exists. To take advantage of this nutritional period, take a pack within 15-30 minutes immediately after lifting. Even better, take 2 packs on your training days – the first preworkout, right before lifting, and the second postworkout. If you take a PWO shake, then take the Animal Nitro first, and then wait at least another 30-45 minutes before drinking that shake. When possible, take Animal Nitro on an empty stomach, preferably with 8-12 oz. of grape or other fruit juice.

- WHO WE ARE In 1983, Animal was founded with the birth of Animal Pak, the venerable training “pack” that started it all. Born from the real needs and desires of professional bodybuilders, Animal has grown prodigiously over the decades. Today, as yesterday, the name Animal stands for trust, integrity and a unique no nonsense approach to the game. Animal also represents a group of products that have stood the test of time, proven again and again in the labs, and in the trenches where it counts most... The gym and the stage. Dedicated to serious nutrition for the serious athlete, Animal is your choice when it comes to complete and comprehensive supplementation. Animal. The choice of champions.
- Muscle ain’t no different. The basic building blocks of muscle are amino acids. And when it comes to lifting, the most potent amino acids, the most important amino acids, are the essential amino acids (EAAs). Not just because the body can’t make ‘em on its own either but because EAAs can directly impact the anabolic drive via protein synthesis--before lifting, during lifting and after lifting. Not just any random collection of EAAs will do either. You need the right ones and in the right ratios and in the right form.
- Animal Nitro uses a precise blend of “uncoupled” EAAs to deliver results. Fast.
