Low disclosure
This product contains four active probiotic strains — beneficial bacteria meant to support gut health. Two of them are Lactobacillus species (rhamnosus GG and acidophilus), and two are Bifidobacterium species (animalis lactis and breve).
The capsule also holds inactive ingredients like cellulose, magnesium stearate, and several forms of carbohydrate (maltodextrin, dextrose, sucrose, trehalose) that help stabilize the live organisms.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for L. acidophilus points toward possible benefit for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), antibiotic-associated diarrhea, Helicobacter pylori infection, and bacterial vaginosis. For B. breve, the data we hold don't show enough evidence to rate it for the conditions listed — mostly because the research isn't complete yet.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
L. acidophilus is generally well tolerated in healthy adults and children. In rare cases, the live bacteria have been linked to serious infections like sepsis or endocarditis, but this appears to happen almost entirely in people who are already very ill or have weakened immune systems.
B. breve also needs caution in critically ill or immunocompromised people; rare cases of bloodstream infection have been reported in that population. Gastrointestinal side effects like bloating, gas, and mild stomach pain can occur when you first start a probiotic, but they're uncommon.
No pregnancy or breastfeeding safety data are on file for either ingredient — talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you're pregnant or nursing.

Probiotic is a therapeutic, multi-strain probiotic combination that is specifically formulated with 5 billion active cells to fortify the gastrointestinal tract with healthy bacteria. 5 billion active cells at manufacturing, guaranteed 1 billion active cells at expiration.

Store in a cool, dry place.
Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions
Suggested Usage: Adults - take 2 capsules once daily. If you are taking antibiotics, take at least 2-3 hours before or after.
Precautions
Caution: Patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment, and other people with immune-compromising conditions such as AIDS or lymphoma should not take this product. If you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond three days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Do not use this product if the safety seal is broken or missing.

Lactobacillus acidophilus UALa-01
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking Lactobacillus acidophilus with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of L. acidophilus.
L. acidophilus preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and L. acidophilus preparations by at least two hours.
Bifidobacterium breve UABB-11
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking Bifidobacterium breve with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of B. breve.
Since B. breve preparations usually contain live and active organisms, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. breve preparations by at least 2 hours.
