Tranquil Tract has two active ingredients: Benegut Perilla extract and ibSium probiotic. The perilla is a plant extract; the probiotic is a beneficial live microorganism.
The product also contains several inactive ingredients — maltodextrin, vegetable cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, and silica — which are fillers and capsule materials.

Perilla extract is generally well tolerated as a food, but supplement-strength products haven't been well studied. The most common side effect from topical perilla is dermatitis.
Orally, a rare but serious adverse effect — anaphylaxis — has been reported, particularly in people consuming perilla seeds; some evidence suggests an ingredient called oleosin may be responsible for perilla allergies. Occupational asthma has also been reported from inhaling smoke from roasted perilla seeds.
The safety data advises against medicinal amounts of perilla during pregnancy and while breastfeeding due to not enough data.
