Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin, Psuedoephedrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group 1,3-dmaa interacts with.

1,3-DMAA strongly inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) enzymes in vitro. Theoretically, 1,3-DMAA can increase levels of CYP2D6 substrates. Some of drugs that are CYP2D6 substrates include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and others.

Aquatab C is a cough and cold combo. The piece that matters here is dextromethorphan (the cough suppressant), which your liver breaks down using an enzyme called CYP2D6. DMAA has been shown in lab dishes to block that enzyme. In theory, that could let dextromethorphan build up, which may mean more dizziness, drowsiness, or, at higher levels, restlessness or confusion.

I'd add a bigger concern: DMAA is a powerful stimulant, and this product already has pseudoephedrine, which also raises blood pressure and heart rate. Stacking the two could really push your blood pressure and pulse up. Honestly, DMAA is banned and unsafe, so it's best avoided entirely. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining these.

1,3-DMAA is thought to have stimulant effects. There is concern that taking 1,3-DMAA with stimulant drugs might increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular effects. Some preliminary research shows that taking 1,3-DMAA 50 mg daily in combination with caffeine 250 mg daily does not increase respiratory rate, blood pressure, or other cardiovascular outcomes compared to taking caffeine alone in healthy men. However, a number of cardiovascular side effects have been reported for patients taking 1,3-DMAA in combination with other stimulants including caffeine. Theoretically, combining 1,3-DMAA with stimulant drugs might increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular effects. Some stimulant drugs include amphetamine, caffeine, diethylpropion (Tenuate), methylphenidate, phentermine (Ionamin), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, others), and many others.

The piece of Aquatab C that matters most here is the pseudoephedrine. It's a decongestant that works by stimulating your system, much like DMAA does. Stack two stimulants together and their effects can pile on top of each other, which can push your blood pressure up, speed up your heart, and leave you feeling jittery, restless, or with a pounding heartbeat or headache.

To be fair, this concern is mostly theoretical, based on how these ingredients act rather than strong studies. But keep in mind DMAA itself has been banned by the FDA as unsafe, so I'd steer clear of it regardless. If you take Aquatab C and are considering any stimulant product, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
