1,3-dmaa + Clomipramine
Clomipramine brand names: Anafranil, Anafranil SR.
1,3-dmaa has a moderate interaction with Clomipramine. 1,3-DMAA strongly inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) enzymes in vitro.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Clomipramine
Clomipramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group 1,3-dmaa interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the concern with pairing these two. Your body uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to help clear clomipramine out of your system. In lab studies, DMAA appears to block that same enzyme. If that holds true in people, clomipramine could build up to higher levels than expected, which may mean stronger side effects like a dry mouth, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, a racing heart, or trouble with rhythm of the heartbeat.
What worries me even more is the overlap of effects. DMAA is a powerful, FDA-banned stimulant that raises blood pressure and heart rate, and clomipramine can affect heart rhythm too. Stacking them could strain your heart. This interaction is only based on lab data, so it isn't proven in humans, but given DMAA's real dangers I'd avoid it entirely and talk with your doctor or pharmacist first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Clomipramine page
“A tricyclic antidepressant used mostly for OCD, clomipramine (Anafranil) is unforgiving of shifts in its blood level, which is why its 236 supplement interactions deserve genuine wariness. Most of the list involves metabolism: herbs that speed up or slow down the liver enzymes handling clomipramine can drag its level too low or push it…”
