Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.

Dr. Brian Staiger, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Brian Staiger explains PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist

Minizide is a combo pill: prazosin relaxes your blood vessels, and polythiazide is a water pill that lowers blood pressure too. Both already nudge your pressure down. The concern with agmatine is simple stacking: in animal studies it modestly lowered blood pressure and heart rate, so adding it on top of your medicine could, in theory, drop your pressure a little too far.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or faint, especially when standing up quickly (prazosin is already known for this 'first-dose' drop). Keep in mind this is theoretical and based mostly on lab and animal work, not solid human studies. Still, before adding agmatine, check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
