Hydrochlorothiazide, Moexipril falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Alfalfa interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of alfalfa with photosensitizing drugs might have additive effects.
Animal research suggests that excessive doses of alfalfa may increase photosensitivity, possibly due to its chlorophyll content. It is unclear if this effect would be clinically relevant in humans.

Here's the deal with combining alfalfa and Uniretic (which blends hydrochlorothiazide with the ACE inhibitor moexipril). The hydrochlorothiazide part of this pill is already known to make some people more sensitive to sunlight, meaning you can sunburn faster or break out in a rash on sun-exposed skin. Alfalfa contains chlorophyll and may, in theory, add to that sun sensitivity.

I want to be honest with you though: this concern comes only from animal studies using very large alfalfa doses, so it's theoretical and may not matter much in real life. Still, it's smart to wear sunscreen and limit long sun exposure. Chat with your pharmacist before starting alfalfa, especially since it isn't recommended for everyone.
