Atkins Diet + Belinostat
Belinostat brand name: Beleodaq.
We found no known interaction between Atkins Diet and Belinostat in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Atkins Diet and Belinostat
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Belinostat and Atkins Diet in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Atkins Diet alongside specific medications may be limited.
Atkins Diet is an eating pattern rather than something you take. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before changing how you eat while on a prescribed medicine: some medicines are dosed around meals, and a change in diet can change how they work. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Safety guidance is general; always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor for your situation.
Why No Interaction Is Listed for Belinostat
Interactions in our licensed database are recorded against drug classes, not just single drug names. Belinostat is filed under 4 classifications — including cytochrome p450 2c9 (cyp2c9) inhibitors, glucuronidated drugs, p-glycoprotein substrates. Atkins Diet has documented interactions with 1 drug class — the most serious being antidiabetes drugs (minor) — and none of Belinostat’s classifications are among them.
Classification data comes from our licensed Natural Medicines dataset. A medication can belong to classes beyond those recorded there, so this describes how the check was run — it is not a safety guarantee.

The most serious there right now: Beer (major), Siberian Cocklebur (major), St. John's Wort (major), Wine (major) and Ashwagandha (moderate).
By severity: 4 major · 73 moderate · 6 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Belinostat page
“Belinostat (Beleodaq) is chemotherapy for peripheral T-cell lymphoma, and the 83 supplement interactions on record for it deserve real scrutiny, not a skim. Four rate major, and they cluster around two dangers.”

Where Atkins Diet and Belinostat Sit Against Everything Else
Out of every supplement and medication people look up on HelloPharmacist, here is where these two land this week — and which way each has been moving.
#1,008 of 1,452 supplements looked up here in the last 7 days
#314 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days
Position among everything looked up on this site, not a measure of how commonly either one is used or how important it is. A supplement can climb this list because of a news story. It counts every request to the page, automated ones included, and nothing here identifies anyone.
Where does our data come from?
- Source: the Natural Medicines (TRC Healthcare) clinical database — the evidence-graded professional reference for herb & supplement interactions.
- Citation library: 103,510 references behind our interaction content, 65,311 of them resolved to verified PubMed/DOI sources. See every Atkins Diet reference on this page ↓
- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified September 20, 2026. The Atkins Diet and Belinostat records this page draws on were last updated July 11, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Atkins Diet
What is Atkins Diet?
- Weight loss
- Blood sugar control
- Reducing carbohydrate intake
- Improving certain cholesterol markers
- Appetite control
The Atkins Diet is a low-carbohydrate eating plan that can help some people lose weight and improve blood sugar in the short term. Long-term results often match other diets, and the plan is restrictive and may not suit everyone. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting, especially if you have diabetes, kidney, or heart concerns.
Not applicable (this is a diet, not an herb) · A low-carbohydrate, higher-protein and higher-fat eating plan with structured phases
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Atkins Diet is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Atkins Diet record says about it on its own.
Atkins Diet: dosing
There is no pill or standardized "dose" for the Atkins Diet. Instead, it follows structured phases that start with strict carbohydrate limits and gradually allow more carbs as you reach your goals. The right carbohydrate target varies from person to person. It is best to follow the official program guidance and, ideally, work with a doctor, pharmacist, or registered dietitian to make sure the plan fits your health needs. Drinking enough water and getting enough fiber can help reduce side effects.

About Belinostat Injection
What Is Belinostat Injection Used For?
Brand name: Beleodaq
Beleodaq (belinostat) injection is approved to treat adult patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) — a fast-growing type of lymphoma (blood cancer) that either came back after treatment or never fully responded to it.
This approval is based on how well the cancer responded to the drug, including how long those responses lasted. Whether Beleodaq extends overall survival or improves disease-related symptoms has not yet been established. Continued approval may depend on results from a confirmatory trial.
Most-Reported Side Effects for Belinostat
From FAERS, the FDA’s public side-effect reporting system (347 reports, all brands). Reports are voluntary and are not proof the drug caused the effect.
