Aspirin, Dipyridamole falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Atractylodes interacts with.

Theoretically, atractylodes might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs.
Laboratory research suggests that atractylenolides II and III, constituents of atractylodes, reduce platelet activation. So far, this has not been shown in humans.

Aggrenox pairs two blood thinners in one capsule: aspirin and dipyridamole. Both work to keep your platelets from clumping, which lowers your stroke risk but also makes bleeding easier. The concern here is simple addition. In lab dishes, certain atractylodes compounds (atractylenolides II and III) also calmed platelets down a bit. Stack that on top of Aggrenox and, in theory, you could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher.

The honest part: this has only been seen in test tubes and animals, never in people, so it's a soft, theoretical signal rather than a proven problem. Still, watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or dark stools, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding atractylodes.
