Here's the thinking with Konvomep (omeprazole plus sodium bicarbonate). This medicine works by turning down your stomach's acid pumps, which helps with heartburn, reflux, and healing the stomach lining. Blessed thistle is a bitter herb that may do the opposite, gently nudging your stomach to make a little more acid. In theory, that could chip away at how well your omeprazole controls symptoms, so you might notice more burning or indigestion.

Honestly though, this is a minor concern built on anecdotal reports, not solid studies, and a small food-like amount is unlikely to matter much. If you take blessed thistle regularly and feel your reflux creeping back, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
