Hydrochlorothiazide, Lisinopril falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Bridelia interacts with.

Animal research suggests that Bridelia extracts decrease arterial pressure. Theoretically, concomitant use of Bridelia with antihypertensive drugs might have additive blood pressure lowering effects.
Some antihypertensive drugs include nifedipine (Adalat, Procardia), verapamil (Calan, Isoptin, Verelan), diltiazem (Cardizem), isradipine (DynaCirc), felodipine (Plendil), amlodipine (Norvasc), and others.

Here's the simple version: your Zestoretic already does two jobs, with lisinopril relaxing your blood vessels and hydrochlorothiazide flushing out extra salt and water to bring your pressure down. Animal studies hint that Bridelia may also nudge blood pressure lower, so taking both together could stack those effects and push your numbers down a bit more than expected.

If that happens, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, or tired, especially when you stand up quickly. I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based mostly on lab and animal data, not solid human studies, so it may not amount to much. Still, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and keep an eye on your home blood pressure readings.

Lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide tablets — sold as the brand Zestoretic and as the generic combination — are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack.

This is a fixed-dose combination product and is not intended as a first-line (initial) treatment for high blood pressure. It is typically prescribed for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on a single medication alone.
