Telmisartan, Amlodipine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Bridelia interacts with.

Animal research suggests that Bridelia extracts decrease arterial pressure. Theoretically, concomitant use of Bridelia with antihypertensive drugs might have additive blood pressure lowering effects.
Some antihypertensive drugs include nifedipine (Adalat, Procardia), verapamil (Calan, Isoptin, Verelan), diltiazem (Cardizem), isradipine (DynaCirc), felodipine (Plendil), amlodipine (Norvasc), and others.

Your Twynsta combines two blood pressure medicines: telmisartan, which relaxes blood vessels by blocking a hormone called angiotensin, and amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker that also widens vessels. Both are working to bring your numbers down.

Here's the thing with Bridelia: in animal studies it appears to lower blood pressure too. So the worry is simple addition. If you take it alongside Twynsta, your pressure could drop a bit more than expected, which might leave you feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or faint, especially when standing up quickly. I'll be honest, this is only a theoretical concern based on lab and animal work, not human studies, so don't panic. Still, before adding Bridelia, please check with your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your readings.
