Clobetasol falls under P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES — the group Bulbine Natalensis interacts with.

Theoretically, Bulbine natalensis stem might increase the levels and clinical effects of p-glycoprotein substrates.
In vitro research shows that Bulbine natalensis stem extract induces p-glycoprotein mRNA expression; however, effects on transporter expression were not evaluated.

Here's the good news on this one: clobetasol is a topical steroid you rub onto your skin or scalp. The supposed interaction with Bulbine natalensis involves a transporter called P-glycoprotein, which mostly matters for medicines you swallow and absorb through your gut. Since you're applying clobetasol to the surface of your skin, very little gets into your bloodstream, so a pill-based transporter effect just doesn't have much to act on.

On top of that, this interaction is purely theoretical. It comes from lab dish research on Bulbine, not from people, and the actual effect on the transporter wasn't even confirmed. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since Bulbine itself has raised liver and kidney safety questions in animals, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist before trying it.
