Theoretically, concomitant use of camphor with other hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of liver damage.
There have been a few case reports of transient elevations in liver enzymes in adults after oral or topical use of camphor. There has also been one case of hepatotoxicity in an infant after topical camphor use.

Here's the simple version: Ripretinib (Qinlock) is a cancer medicine that can be tough on your liver. Camphor, the cooling ingredient in many rub-on muscle and chest products, has been linked in a handful of reports to short-lived bumps in liver enzymes, even when used on the skin. The worry is that stacking two things that can stress the liver might add up.

I want to be honest that this concern is theoretical, based on how these things behave rather than solid proof. Used in small, regulated amounts on the skin, camphor is unlikely to cause trouble, and you should never swallow it. Since you're on a medicine that needs liver monitoring, just give your pharmacist or oncologist a heads-up before using camphor products.
