Here's the simple version: nadolol already works to lower your blood pressure and slow your heart rate, and coconut water may nudge blood pressure down a little on its own. Stack the two and, in theory, your numbers could dip a bit more than expected. That might show up as feeling lightheaded, dizzy, tired, or having a slow pulse, especially when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest about the strength of this one: it's mostly theoretical, based on how both work, with only early research suggesting coconut water lowers blood pressure. A glass now and then is unlikely to cause trouble for most folks. If you drink large amounts daily or notice dizziness, just check in with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

What Is Nadolol Used For?

Brand names: Corgard, Nadolol

Nadolol tablets are used for two main conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina pectoris (ongoing chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). Lowering high blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack.

For high blood pressure, nadolol may be prescribed on its own or combined with other blood pressure medications, especially thiazide-type diuretics (water pills). For angina, it is used for long-term management to help reduce how often chest pain occurs.
