Here's the gist: hydralazine works by relaxing your blood vessels so your blood pressure comes down. Coconut water, in some early research, may also nudge blood pressure a little lower on its own. So when you put the two together, the worry is that they could stack up and drop your pressure a bit more than expected.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or a little woozy when you stand up, or notice your heart racing. To be clear, this is a theoretical concern based on how each one works, not something strongly proven, and an occasional glass with a meal is unlikely to cause trouble for most folks. Still, if you drink coconut water often or have low pressure already, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on it.

Hydralazine tablets are used to treat essential hypertension (high blood pressure), either alone or alongside other blood pressure medications.
