Here's the simple version: amlodipine already relaxes your blood vessels to bring your blood pressure down. Some early research suggests coconut water can nudge blood pressure a little lower too. Put them together and, in theory, your numbers could drop a bit more than expected. That might leave you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or woozy when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest about how strong this is, though. This concern is mostly theoretical, based on how each one works, and the human research is preliminary. For most people, enjoying coconut water now and then is unlikely to cause trouble. If you drink it daily or notice dizziness or unusually low readings, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

About Amlodipine

What Is Amlodipine Used For?

Brand name: Norliqva

Amlodipine treats high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and children aged 6–17 years. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Sdamlo (oral solution) is specifically indicated for hypertension in adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older.

Amlodipine also treats coronary artery disease in adults, including chronic stable angina (chest pain with exertion), vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal's or variant angina, caused by coronary artery spasms), and documented coronary artery disease in patients without heart failure or significantly reduced heart pumping function.
