Coriander + Protriptyline
Protriptyline brand name: Vivactil.
Coriander has a moderate interaction with Protriptyline. Theoretically, coriander might increase the risk of photosensitivity when taken with photosensitizing drugs.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS
Why this applies to Protriptyline
Protriptyline falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Coriander interacts with.
Evidence from in vitro research suggests that coriandrin, a constituent of coriander, has photosensitizing effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with these two together. Protriptyline (Vivactil) can already make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, meaning you might burn faster than usual. Coriander may add a small amount to that effect. A plant compound in coriander called coriandrin showed light-sensitizing activity in lab tests, so the worry is that the two could stack up and leave your skin a little more prone to sunburn or rash.
I want to keep this in perspective. This is a theoretical concern based only on lab research and scattered reports, not strong human studies. Cilantro in your cooking is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated coriander extracts or essential oils are the bigger question mark. Either way, good sun habits (sunscreen, a hat, shade) cover you well. Check with your pharmacist or doctor before using coriander supplements.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Protriptyline page
“Protriptyline (Vivactil) is an older tricyclic antidepressant, and I read its supplement list with genuine care because so much of it piles onto what the drug already does. Four of the 93 ingredients on file rate major, and those deserve your attention before anything else.”

Natural Medicines records Protriptyline as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Coriander — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
