Amprenavir falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Dhea interacts with.

Theoretically, DHEA might increase the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Some preliminary evidence shows that DHEA may inhibit CYP3A4; however, the clinical significance of this potential interaction is not known.

Here's the short version for these two. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear amprenavir, an HIV medicine. Some early lab hints suggest DHEA might slow that enzyme down a little. If that happens, amprenavir could build up more than expected, which in theory might mean more of its usual side effects, like nausea, diarrhea, stomach upset, rash, or tingling around the mouth.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and based only on weak, anecdotal evidence. We really don't know if it matters in real life. Amprenavir works as the active drug itself, so it isn't a case where blocking the enzyme makes it weaker. Since keeping HIV treatment steady is so important, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding DHEA.
