Hydrochlorothiazide, Losartan Potassium falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, evodia might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that evodia extract inhibits hepatic CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the situation with Hyzaar (which combines losartan and hydrochlorothiazide). Lab studies suggest evodia may slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, and the losartan part of your pill is partly handled by that enzyme. In theory, if that pathway is blocked, a bit more losartan could hang around, which might nudge your blood pressure lower than expected. That could mean more dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or feeling washed out.

I want to be honest though: this is only seen in test-tube research, never confirmed in actual people, so the real-world risk looks small. Still, since blood pressure meds are worth getting right, please run any evodia supplement past your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.
