Here's the basic idea: sitaxsentan (Thelin) is used to relax blood vessels and ease the workload on the heart and lungs in pulmonary arterial hypertension, so it can lower blood pressure as part of how it works. Flaxseed, when taken regularly as a supplement (especially for more than about 12 weeks), may nudge blood pressure down a little on its own. Stack the two together and, in theory, your pressure could drop a bit more than expected.

This is a theoretical concern based on how both act, not something proven to cause trouble. Still, watch for signs of low blood pressure like dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or feeling faint. A sprinkle of flaxseed on food is unlikely to matter much, but before starting concentrated flaxseed supplements, please check with your pharmacist or doctor.
