Flaxseed + Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide brand names: Mounjaro, Zepbound.
Flaxseed has a moderate interaction with Tirzepatide. Theoretically, flaxseed might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs and increase the risk for hypoglycemia.

ANTIDIABETES DRUGS
Why this applies to Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Flaxseed interacts with.
Some clinical research suggests that flaxseed can lower blood glucose levels.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version: flaxseed may nudge your blood sugar a little lower on its own, and tirzepatide (Mounjaro) is already working hard to bring those numbers down. Stack the two together and the effects can add up, so your glucose could dip lower than expected.
Honestly, tirzepatide by itself rarely causes serious lows unless you also use insulin or a sulfonylurea, and the evidence here is fairly modest. Still, keep an eye out for shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or sudden hunger, especially when you first add flaxseed. Food amounts sprinkled on yogurt are unlikely to cause trouble, but concentrated supplement doses are worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor so they can help you watch your readings.

Tirzepatide Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Tirzepatide as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Flaxseed — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
