Here's the thing to keep in mind with this combination. Your medication contains two ingredients that already calm the nervous system: codeine (an opioid) and phenobarbital (a barbiturate). Both can make you drowsy on their own. Galphimia glauca appears, mostly from lab and animal work, to have its own mild sedative effect. So stacking them together could leave you more tired, foggy, dizzy, or slow to react than you'd expect.

This is a theoretical concern based on how these things work, not something proven in people, so I don't want to alarm you. Still, with phenobarbital and codeine both on board, it's worth being cautious. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Galphimia, and don't change anything on your own.
