Grape + Bisoprolol
Bisoprolol brand name: Zebeta.
Grape has a moderate interaction with Bisoprolol. Theoretically, grape seed extract may increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Bisoprolol
Bisoprolol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Grape interacts with.
In vitro evidence suggests that grape seed extract might inhibit CYP2D6 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the basic idea with grape seed extract and your bisoprolol. In a lab setting, grape seed compounds appear to slow down an enzyme called CYP2D6, which is one of the pathways your body uses to clear bisoprolol. If that enzyme is partly blocked, a little more bisoprolol could hang around in your system. Since bisoprolol is an active drug (not a prodrug), more of it could mean a stronger effect, like a slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, dizziness, or tiredness.
The good news is that this is only a theoretical concern so far, seen in test tubes and never actually reported in real people. Eating grapes as food won't be an issue. If you're thinking about a concentrated grape seed supplement, just run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.

Most of the list, 119 ingredients in all, either adds to bisoprolol's pressure-lowering effect or works against it, so your numbers can drift…”

About Grape
What is Grape?
- Antioxidant support
- Heart and circulation health
- Vein problems (such as varicose veins)
- Eye health
- General anti-inflammatory support
Grapes and grape products like grape seed extract contain antioxidant compounds such as resveratrol and proanthocyanidins that may support heart and blood vessel health. While the food is healthy and generally safe, the supplement evidence for treating specific conditions is mostly limited or preliminary. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before starting a grape supplement.
About Bisoprolol
What Is Bisoprolol Used For?
Brand name: Zebeta
Bisoprolol fumarate tablets are used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the strain on the heart and blood vessels, helping prevent serious complications over time.
It can be used on its own or combined with other blood pressure-lowering medicines, such as thiazide diuretics. All supported products — including those labeled as Bisoprolol and Bisoprolol Fumarate — share this indication.

Bisoprolol Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Bisoprolol as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Grape — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
