The piece of this combination product that matters here is the codeine, which is an opioid that already calms down your central nervous system. In one animal study, a water extract of guarumo had its own sedative, muscle-relaxing effect. So the worry is simple addition: pairing guarumo with the codeine in this product could, in theory, leave you feeling more drowsy, lightheaded, or foggy than codeine alone, and possibly slow your breathing or reflexes.

Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based on animal data, not strong human evidence, so I don't want to overstate it. The aluminum, magnesium, and aspirin parts aren't the issue. Still, since codeine sedation is real, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't drive until you know how you feel.
