Your combo pill pairs dicyclomine (which calms stomach cramps) with phenobarbital, a barbiturate that already has a strong calming, sedating effect on the brain. Here's the concern with guarumo: in an animal study, a water-based guarumo extract slowed the nervous system down and caused muscle relaxation and trouble with coordination. Stacked on top of phenobarbital, the worry is that the two could add up and leave you extra drowsy, foggy, dizzy, or unsteady on your feet.

I want to be honest about the evidence here. This is only theoretical, based on lab and animal work, not human studies, so it may not be a big deal in real life. Still, since phenobarbital is sedating on its own, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding guarumo rather than guessing.
