Miconazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Hibiscus Sabdariffa interacts with.

Theoretically, Hibiscus sabdariffa extract might reduce the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Hibiscus sabdariffa calyx extract inhibits CYP3A4. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the thing worth knowing about pairing hibiscus tea with miconazole. In lab studies, hibiscus calyx extract seems to slow down an enzyme called CYP3A4, which is one of the body's main drug-processing pathways. In theory, blocking that enzyme could let a CYP3A4-handled drug build up a little more than usual.

The good news for you is how you most likely use miconazole. The Monistat and Micatin type products are applied right where you need them, on the skin or vaginally, so very little gets into your bloodstream. That means a cup of tart hibiscus tea is very unlikely to cause any real problem. This is a theoretical, lab-only concern that hasn't been seen in real people. Still, if you take any oral antifungal, just run it by your pharmacist.
