Theoretically, concomitant use of IP-6 with drugs that affect platelet aggregation may increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro IP-6 can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been demonstrated in humans.

Here's the piece that matters with Fiorinal with Codeine: it contains aspirin, which already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping together. In test-tube studies, IP-6 has shown a similar mild effect on platelets. So the theory is that stacking the two could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher, meaning things like easier bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset that won't quit.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. This has only been seen in lab dishes, never proven in real people, and it's rated unlikely. Still, since aspirin is the part doing the heavy lifting here, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding IP-6, especially if you bruise or bleed easily.
