Lansoprazole, Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Khella interacts with.

Theoretically, khella might have additive adverse effects on the liver when used with hepatotoxic drugs. Khella can increase liver transaminases. Some drugs that can adversely affect the liver include acetaminophen (Tylenol), amiodarone (Cordarone), carbamazepine (Tegretol), isoniazid (INH), methotrexate (Rheumatrex), methyldopa (Aldomet), and many others.

Prevpac is the H. pylori treatment pack that combines lansoprazole, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin. The concern here isn't about khella changing how these medicines work. Instead, it's a matter of stacking up stress on your liver. Khella has been shown to raise liver enzymes (those transaminases on a blood test), and both clarithromycin and amoxicillin can occasionally irritate the liver too. Put them together and the burden could add up.

Keep in mind this is mostly a theoretical worry, so I don't want you to panic. Still, if you notice yellowing of your eyes or skin, dark urine, or pain in your upper right belly, reach out right away. Before adding khella to this combo, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
