Talwin Compound pairs aspirin with pentazocine, an opioid-type pain reliever that already works on your central nervous system. The piece to watch here is the pentazocine, since lemon balm appears to have its own mild calming, sedative-like activity. Stack the two and those effects can add up, so you might feel sleepier, dizzier, or more foggy than usual, with slower reaction times.

This is mostly a theoretical concern drawn from animal work and small human studies, not strong proof, and an occasional cup of lemon balm tea is unlikely to cause trouble for most people. Concentrated capsules or extracts are where I'd pay closer attention. Before combining them regularly, run it by your pharmacist or doctor, and don't drive until you know how the mix affects you.
