Juvisync is a combo pill: sitagliptin helps your body manage blood sugar, while simvastatin handles cholesterol. The interaction we have on file is really about the diabetes side of this pill. In animal studies, Madagascar periwinkle lowered blood sugar in diabetic rats. So the worry is simple math: if both the herb and your sitagliptin push blood sugar down, they could push it down too far.

Keep in mind this is theoretical, based only on animal data, so we honestly don't know if it happens in people. Still, if your sugar dropped too low, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, or confused. Honestly, the raw plant is toxic and isn't safe to take anyway. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
