Here's the simple version: this isn't about how your body breaks down aminoglutethimide. The concern is that marsh labrador tea may add to the sedating, drowsy effects of medicines that slow down the brain. Aminoglutethimide (Cytadren) is grouped with those central nervous system depressants because it can cause sleepiness, dizziness, and a kind of mental fog, especially when you first start it.

So if you combined the two, you could feel more tired, foggy, or unsteady on your feet than usual. Honestly, this caution is theoretical and based on how these things behave, not strong human studies. But marsh labrador tea also contains natural toxins and isn't considered safe for routine use. I'd skip it and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
