Here's the gist with this pairing. Marsh Labrador tea has been noted to add to the sedating, calming effects of things like alcohol and barbiturates. Tramadol (Ultram, Qdolo) is an opioid pain reliever that also slows down the brain and nervous system, so the worry is that stacking the two could deepen that effect.
