Amlodipine, Celecoxib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Neem interacts with.

Theoretically, neem leaf extract might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that neem leaf methanol extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. So far, this reaction has not been reported in humans.

Consensi is a combo pill containing amlodipine (a blood pressure medicine) and celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory for pain). Both of these are partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In test-tube studies, neem leaf extract seems to slow that enzyme down a bit. If that happened in your body, these drugs could build up slightly, which in theory might mean more amlodipine side effects like ankle swelling, flushing, dizziness, or low blood pressure, and a higher chance of celecoxib effects such as stomach upset.

Here's the reassuring part: this is only lab data, and it has never actually been reported in real people. Neither of these is a prodrug, so the direction is straightforward. Still, since you're on a blood pressure medicine, it's worth a quick check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding concentrated neem supplements.

Consensi combines amlodipine (a blood pressure pill) with celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever). The celecoxib half is cleared mainly by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In lab dish studies, neem leaf extract has slowed that same enzyme down, which could in theory let celecoxib build up a bit higher than usual. That might mean more of celecoxib's typical side effects, like stomach upset, fluid retention, or higher blood pressure. Amlodipine can add to swelling in the ankles too.

The key thing to know: this is only seen in test tubes so far, never reported in real people, so it's very theoretical. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding concentrated neem supplements.
