Here's the simple version: your combo pill (ezetimibe with atorvastatin, sold as Liptruzet) lowers cholesterol, and the atorvastatin part can occasionally stress the liver. That usually shows up as raised liver enzymes on a blood test, and rarely as symptoms like belly pain, dark urine, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or unusual tiredness. Noni juice has its own rare reports of liver trouble. The worry is that stacking two things that can each bother the liver might add up.

I want to be honest about the evidence here. This is mostly theoretical and based on a few case reports, not strong proof. Still, it's an easy conversation to have. Before you start noni, check with your pharmacist or doctor, and don't stop your medication on your own.
