Here's the simple version. Teclistamab (Tecvayli) is a powerful injectable medicine used for multiple myeloma, and one of the things your care team watches closely is your liver. The drug itself can raise liver enzymes in some people. The concern with noni is that, in rare reports, noni juice or supplements have also been tied to liver trouble. Putting two things that can each stress the liver together could, in theory, add up.

To be honest, this is based on scattered case reports, not strong studies, so it's more of a caution than a proven danger. Still, since your liver is already being monitored on this treatment, I'd keep noni off your list unless your oncology team okays it. Watch for yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness, and call your doctor if those show up.

What Is Teclistamab-cqyv Injection Used For?

Brand name: Tecvayli

Tecvayli (teclistamab-cqyv) injection is used to treat adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma — a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow — whose disease has come back or stopped responding to earlier treatments.

Tecvayli is approved in two settings: as monotherapy for patients who have received at least four prior lines of therapy (including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent, and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody); and in combination with daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihj for patients who have received at least one prior line of therapy including a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulatory agent.
