Dolasetron falls under SEROTONERGIC DRUGS — the group Psilocybin interacts with.

Theoretically, combining psilocybin with serotonergic drugs might cause additive serotonergic effects.
Psilocybin has serotonin 2A (5-HT2A) receptor agonist activity. Theoretically, combining serotonergic drugs with psilocybin might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the simple version. Dolasetron (Anzemet) calms nausea from chemo by blocking one type of serotonin signal in the body. Psilocybin works on a different serotonin receptor, but both of them nudge the serotonin system. When you stack drugs that all touch serotonin, the worry is too much serotonin activity at once, sometimes called serotonin syndrome (think agitation, fast heartbeat, sweating, shivering, muscle twitching, or confusion).

I want to be honest about the strength of this one. It's theoretical, based on how these two work on paper, and it has not actually been reported in people taking them together. Still, psilocybin is investigational, unpredictable, and illegal in most places. Please don't mix anything new with your chemo medicines without first checking with your oncology pharmacist or doctor.
