Theoretically, combining psilocybin with serotonergic drugs might cause additive serotonergic effects.
Psilocybin has serotonin 2A (5-HT2A) receptor agonist activity. Theoretically, combining serotonergic drugs with psilocybin might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with Ricobid (chlorpheniramine plus phenylephrine) and psilocybin. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine, and one of its lesser-known quirks is that it gently nudges serotonin levels by blocking serotonin reuptake. Psilocybin works on serotonin receptors too. So on paper, stacking the two could pile on serotonin activity and, in theory, raise the odds of serotonin syndrome. That can look like agitation, a racing heart, sweating, shivering, muscle twitching, or confusion.

I'll be straight with you: this is a theoretical concern based on how these compounds work, not something actually reported in people. It's also worth saying psilocybin isn't an approved supplement and should only ever be used in a supervised study. Please run any combination past your pharmacist or doctor first.

The piece of this combo product that matters here is the phenylephrine, which is a decongestant with mild stimulant-like effects on the body. It can already bump up your heart rate and blood pressure a bit. Psilocybin also stirs up the central nervous system, so pairing the two could theoretically stack those effects, leaving you more likely to feel jittery, anxious, fast-hearted, or have a higher blood pressure than either would cause alone.

I'll be honest: this concern is theoretical, based on how each acts rather than solid studies in people. The chlorpheniramine part is a sedating antihistamine, so the picture can be mixed. Beyond that, psilocybin isn't an approved supplement and is unpredictable on its own. Please run any real plans by your pharmacist or doctor first.
