Psilocybin + Aripiprazole Lauroxil
Aripiprazole Lauroxil brand names: Aristada, Aristada Initio Kit.
Psilocybin has a moderate interaction with Aripiprazole Lauroxil. Theoretically, combining psilocybin with serotonergic drugs might cause additive serotonergic effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
SEROTONERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Aripiprazole Lauroxil
Aripiprazole Lauroxil falls under SEROTONERGIC DRUGS — the group Psilocybin interacts with.
Psilocybin has serotonin 2A (5-HT2A) receptor agonist activity. Theoretically, combining serotonergic drugs with psilocybin might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version for Aristada (aripiprazole lauroxil): both this medicine and psilocybin touch the brain's serotonin system. On paper, stacking two serotonin-active things could add up and, in theory, raise the odds of serotonin-related problems like agitation, a racing heart, sweating, shakiness, or confusion. I want to be honest though: this concern is theoretical, based on how the two work, and it hasn't actually been reported in people.
There's a second wrinkle. Aristada is a long-acting injection that stays in your body for weeks, so you can't simply undo it. Beyond any serotonin worry, a real psychedelic experience can clash with treatment for schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Psilocybin is also still investigational and illegal in most places. Please talk this through with your psychiatrist or pharmacist before mixing anything.
