Theoretically, concomitant use of psilocybin with stimulant drugs might increase stimulant adverse effects.
Due to the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant effects of psilocybin, concomitant use with stimulant drugs may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Here's the simple version: both psilocybin and caffeine can rev up your nervous system, so stacking them may add up. Caffeine isn't a prodrug, it works as-is, and psilocybin doesn't change how your body clears it. The concern is just that two stimulating effects could pile on top of each other.

In practical terms, that might mean a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, anxiety, trouble sleeping, or feeling on edge. I'll be straight with you though: this is a theoretical caution based on how these substances act, not strong human data. Keep in mind psilocybin is investigational and illegal in most places, so it should only ever be used in a supervised setting. If you have questions, please check with your doctor or pharmacist.
