Here's the connection worth knowing about. High-dose penicillin G, especially when given by injection, can on its own slightly lower the seizure threshold (meaning the brain becomes a bit more prone to seizures), particularly in people with kidney problems or those getting very large doses. Rauwolscine is a strong stimulant that revs up your nervous system, and in animal studies it also made seizures easier to trigger.

So in theory, using them together might add up and raise the chance of a seizure. I want to be honest though: this is based only on lab and animal research, not real-world human cases, so the actual risk is likely low for most people. Still, if you take rauwolscine and are prescribed penicillin G, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can weigh it for your situation.

Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements. What Is Penicillin G (Potassium, Sodium) Injection Used For?

Brand name: Pfizerpen

Penicillin G Potassium for Injection is used to treat serious infections caused by bacteria that are susceptible to penicillin. It covers a wide range of conditions, including bloodstream infections (septicemia), meningitis, pneumonia, endocarditis (heart valve infection), and pericarditis (infection around the heart).

It is also used for infections such as syphilis (including neurosyphilis and congenital syphilis), anthrax, diphtheria, botulism, tetanus, gas gangrene, disseminated gonococcal infections, listeria infections, and rat-bite fever, among others. Some uses are as adjunctive therapy — meaning penicillin G supports, but does not replace, other treatments like antitoxins.
